Chef Set Ltd has been manufacturing and supplying high-quality light catering equipment to professional kitchens across the UK for more than forty years.
Founded in Birmingham in 1978 as B.M.S. Cookware Ltd (Brothers Metal Spinners), the company began as a small family business run by two brothers, producing aluminium pans for professional kitchens that were simple, practical, and built to last.
As the business grew in the 1980s, the Chef Set brand was acquired and the range of cookware and catering products expanded. Staff doubled in size and additional family members joined the team.
In the late 1990s, trading under Chef Set Ltd, the company expanded operations to Pune, India, combining UK-led design and quality standards with trusted international manufacturing. This allowed the firm to broaden its reach while maintaining the high standards, competitive pricing, and reliable supply that customers have come to expect.
Today, Chef Set Ltd is a trusted manufacturer, importer, and distributor, delivering professional-grade catering equipment to trade and hospitality customers across the UK and overseas.
