At www.chefset.co.uk we take security very seriously. Our secure server software encrypts (scrambles) all your card and cardholder details using a 128-bit encryption. This ensures that the information is stored and sent across the internet encrypted.
We do not store credit card details.
You can tell that the pages you are using are secure because a padlock symbol / key is seen in the bottom bar of your screen. You will also notice that the address in the address bar changes from http:// to https:// (which stands for Hyper Text Transmission Protocol Secure). This indicates that the secure sockets layer stand is being used.
We are registered under the Data Protection Act and therefore follow strict guidelines and procedures when storing or disclosing your information.

Who makes the Deliveries?
We use a range of 3rd party carriers dependant upon the product to be supplied. Individual parcels are normally delivered next working day, whilst larger consignments can take up to 3 working days.
We use DPD on next day delivery and Hermes on 3-4days delivery.
The user assumes full responsibility for the protection of his computer system including computer hardware and software, stored data on his computer system and the stored data and computer systems including hardware an software of third parties who may access or be otherwise connected to the User’s computer system. The User assumes the responsibility of ensuring that programs or other data downloaded or otherwise received from the site are free from viruses or other items of a destructive nature.
Check Model Numbers Upon Delivery
Please check the model numbers on the boxes of items you have received with the model numbers on the receipt upon delivery. Please do not open the product if the model number is different to the order.
Items Delivered Damaged
In the highly unlikely event that goods are delivered to you damaged it is your responsibility to ensure that you add a brief statement addressing this damage along with your signature and date in the carrier’s delivery notes. Please inform us within 24 hours of delivery of any faults or we cannot accept responsibility for the items.
If for any reason you are unhappy with your product(s), they can be returned within 7 days of delivery, providing they are returned unused and in the original packaging and including any accessories. Any refund will be made, less the cost of all carriage and handling, within 30 days of cancellation.
